Clay brick walls are often reimagined as sunshade and privacy screen in a number of our projects. Here is an example from our buzz.ar project completed in 2019.
Our DeLight Homes published as a CIDB technical publication! The proposals for DeLight Homes look at ways to humanise and improve low income homes in Malaysia with a focus on improved living spaces, sustainability and efficiency of prefabricated construction. This project was carried out in collaboration with @cream @cidbmalaysia
Read about our work and approach along with that of other southeast asian architects in this publication, edited as the catalogue of the exhibition “Green, Green and Tropical – Woodified Architecture in Southeast Asia” (ARCHI-DEPOT MUSEUM, Tokyo, February-May 2019). It focuses on the new tendency of wooden architecture and design appearing in Southeast Asia and Japan in recent years. It consists of two sections, one for the works of architects and designers who are working in Southeast Asia, another for critical essays and study reports on the planning / design methodology for pursuing architecture in such a tropical area.
Local children playing outside our recently completed village library in Kampung Endah, Selangor. Approximately 100 square metres in floor area, the public library has been extended and remodelled from an old existing structure to form a small space for the local village community.
